Call for Abstracts for the 7th PhD Student-Supervisor and Early Career Researcher
The Call for Abstracts for the 7th PhD Student-Supervisor and Early Career Researcher conference is now open. The conference is taking place from September 2-4, 2020 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Prof. Dorte Gyrd-Hansen will be the keynote speaker and Scott Cunningham will give a pre-conference workshop. Job van Exel is chairing the local organizing committee and Teresa Bago d’Uva is chairing the scientific committee. Further information about the conference and the venue can be found here.
The conference presents a valuable opportunity for PhD students and young researchers in the field of health economics to present their ongoing research and receive important feedback from experienced health economists and peers with expertise in their field of study. It also provides an excellent platform to network with peers, and initiate collaborations with researchers with similar interests.
The submission procedure has two steps. First, an extended abstract has to be submitted until March 31. In case of acceptance, the full paper needs to be submitted by July 31. Please use this link for submission.
Engagement of supervisors is paramount to this conference; they play a unique role in accompanying their students while at the same time providing valuable formal and informal feedback to other participants. This is the hallmark of this conference and is viewed as its most valuable component both by students and supervisors.
